Precautions for electric pressure cooker

Improper selection
The first is to choose a pressure cooker, and you must choose a pressure cooker with a brand, a manufacturer, a manual, and a qualified quality pressure cooker. Do not buy counterfeit goods. The pressure cooker is divided into specifications, generally there are four types of 20.22.24.26 cm. If your family has a small population, you can buy a small one; if you have a large population, you will naturally want to buy a large one. But if you consider thermal efficiency, you'd rather pick a bigger one. Pressure cookers are generally divided into three types: aluminum, aluminum alloy and stainless steel. Each of the three has its own characteristics: aluminum is light in weight, fast in heat transfer, cheap, and has a service life of more than 20 years. But using it will undoubtedly increase the absorption of aluminum elements, and long-term use of it is not good for health. Aluminum alloys are better than pure aluminum products, durable and strong. Although stainless steel pressure cooker is a little more expensive, it is heat-resistant, beautiful, not easy to react with acid, alkali and salt in food, and has the longest service life, which can reach more than 30 years. So, even if you spend a little more money at a time, it's better to buy a stainless steel one.
use without learning
Some people buy a pressure cooker and use it without asking or learning. This is the most dangerous! When using the pressure cooker for the first time, you must read the instruction manual of the pressure cooker. Be sure to follow the instructions, or ask someone who knows how to do it. Use it without learning.
Do not check before use
When using, first carefully check whether the exhaust hole is unblocked, and whether the hole under the safety valve seat is blocked by residual rice or other food residues. If it is blocked by food during use, the pot should be removed from the fire source, and the aging rubber ring will easily cause the pressure cooker to leak. For this reason, it needs to be updated in time.
The handle does not fit
The handle of the pot cover must be completely overlapped with the handle of the pot, so that the food can be cooked with electricity, otherwise it will cause the explosion of the pot and the flying cover accident.
Pressurized without authorization
During use, someone arbitrarily added weight to the pressurized valve in order to increase the pressure in the pot and forcibly shorten the production time. However, there are strict technical parameters for the pressure in the pot. Ignoring this scientific design is tantamount to joking with one's own life, which will lead to serious consequences of the pot bursting and hurting people. Don't take this risk! In addition, if the fusible metal sheet (plug) on the pot falls off, it must not be replaced with other metal objects, and the same kind of new parts should be replaced.
overfilled
When using a pressure cooker to put food ingredients, the capacity should not exceed four-fifths of the volume of the pot, and if it is a food that is easy to expand such as beans, it should not exceed two-thirds of the volume of the pot.
Open cover halfway
During the heating process, do not open the lid halfway, lest the food burst into hot. Before confirming the cooling, do not remove the weight or pressure regulating device, so as to avoid spouting food and hurting people. The lid should be opened after natural cooling or forced cooling.
Sharp shovel
The pressure cooker must be cleaned in time after use, especially to check whether the safety plug is hidden with food deposits and residues. To keep the appearance of the pot clean, do not use sharp tools such as knives, scissors, shovels, etc. to shovel the inside and outside of the pot, otherwise the pot will easily deform into convex and concave. shape, or shoveled out horizontal and vertical scratches, which will damage the protective layer.
Air pressure opening
Before opening the lid, make sure that there is no pressure in the pot, and then remove the pressure-limiting valve to ensure that the lid can be opened only when there is no air pressure in the pot, or you can force cooling with cold water to depressurize the pot, and wait until there is no gas in the pot. Only open the lid when draining. Pressure cookers on the market have safety protection for opening and closing lids. For example, when there is air pressure in the pot, the safety lever is in the rising stage. At this time, the lid cannot be opened according to the normal use method. When there is no air pressure in the pot, the safety lever is lowered and The lid can be safely opened. When venting, keep your hands or face away from the vent to avoid burns.
