When a loop coil is supplied with current, the effect is equivalent to a bar magnet. Therefore, the N-S pole of the magnetic field is generated on the coil surface, that is, there is a magnetic flux passing through. If the power source used is alternating current, the magnetic poles of the coil and the magnetic flux passing through the loop surface will change.

The higher the induced current, the higher the heat generated and the shorter the time required to cook the food. If the induced current is larger, the change of the magnetic flux passing through the metal surface will be larger, and of course the magnetic field strength will be stronger. As a result, the coil that originally passed the alternating current needs to be wound together more and more turns. Because of the use of high-intensity magnetic field induction, no current is generated on the top of the induction cooker, so the top of the cooker does not generate high temperatures when cooking food. Regular induction cooktops are made of black crystal plates that can withstand high temperatures, which are relatively safe cooking utensils. In the process of use, because the black crystal plate will come into contact with the pot, high temperature will be generated locally, so do not touch the stove surface for a period of time after heating to prevent burns.
