In Lianjiang's rice cooker and electric kettle production workshops, automated assembly lines hum at full speed. Robotic arms move with fluid precision, deftly grasping and assembling components as batches of "Made in Lianjiang" appliances roll off the line... By 2024, Lianjiang's small appliance industry achieved an output value of 25 billion yuan, with export volume rising 13% year-on-year.
In recent years, to address the challenges of resource fragmentation and disjointed development among home appliance manufacturers, Lianjiang City has leveraged the integration of organizational, innovation, and service chains as a driving force to propel the cluster-based and intelligent development of its home appliance enterprises. Lianjiang's small home appliance industry cluster has been selected as one of the first "National Characteristic Industry Clusters for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises." Its flagship products-electric rice cookers and electric kettles-account for 30% of China's total finished product output and sales, while its components represent 60% of the national market. These products are exported to over 100 countries and regions worldwide.
